Freenotes have made their Australian debut at the Perth Cultural Centre
The Perth Cultural Centre has received a $17 million upgrade which includes a new children's playground featuring Freenotes Outdoor Musical Instruments.
The Perth Cultural Centre is an area of central Perth, Western Australia and the collective name for the buildings of the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Western Australian Museum, Perth Gaol, Alexander Library, State Records Office, and Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA).The 2011 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) will be held at the Perth Cultural Centre from 28-30 October. CHOGM 2011 will bring together more than 50 world leaders representing approximately one-quarter of the world's countries and one-third of the world's population.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will officially open CHOGM in Perth on Friday 28 October and we're hoping that she won't be able to resist a little play on the Freenotes instruments as she walks past them.
Click here to listen to the report shown on ABC News regarding the recent upgrade.
Freenotes are available in Australia & New Zealand from our Distributor Active Play.
