Some words you’ll find music folk use all the time – learn what they mean and sound really intelligent!
| Freenotes 'Minis' deliver the sound of the full size instruments using a fraction of the space. You already know that the Freenotes brand is synonymous with quality and clarity of sound. The latest mini series is no exception and the sounds they produce are as clear and of a quality you would expect from a much larger unit. As with all Freenotes instruments they are designed for permanent outdoor installation and their weather-resistant design means they are able to withstand the worst that Mother Nature can dish out! Available in all the standard Freenotes colours, instruments in the 'mini-series' come complete with a stainless steel stand which can be supplied at various heights to make it suitable for players from toddlerhood to adulthood. The stand is designed to be surface mounted and quick and easy to install. If requested, the security fixings for the 'Minis' can be replaced with easy to remove 'handwheel' fixings, which along with the lightweight design of the instruments, enables you to remove them from the post and take to play or store indoors, for both added versatility and enjoyment. |
WATOTOThe warm woody tone from the Ipe key arrangement delivers right through to the higher notes; giving an organic, smooth sound.Scaled down from the much larger Amadinda, the Watoto (Ugandan for The Child) produces a sound which is both uplifting and very simple to play.

WAZAWAThe WAZAWA makes a beautiful, happy sound and is great fun to play. With its entirely weather proof fibre-glass keys, it sounds just like the full size Imbarimba which it emulates but is just the right size for younger players or smaller spaces.
Wazawa means 'The Children' in Swahili and playing it brings a smile to everyone around.
