Outdoor Musical Instrument: Tubano Drums

These colourful set of outdoor musical playground equipment are the perfect children's drums; they are made with replaceable PVC heads ranging from 170mm to 400mm in diameter – each producing its own characteristic response and tone.

The drums can be fixed at varying heights to suit your needs. The bases of the outdoor Tubano Drums can be permanently installed directly into the ground in a choice of arrangements or supplied with a timber base.  The drums can be painted in a number of exciting colour combinations.

Tubano drums have a distinctive Afro-Cuban influence; they are similar to traditional conga drums and have a specially shaped sound chamber that amplifies the sound. The Outdoor Playground Drums can be played using the hands to create a tom-tom like sound, creating an exciting avenue for players to create their own music and produce a big, open, resonant sound.

Drumming captures the heart of most children who encounter it.  Drummers don’t have to worry about melody, or chords and absolutely NO previous musical experience is required.

Research has also shown that drumming can also offer therapeutic benefits  including; physical and mental relaxation making Tubano Drums perfect music therapy instruments.
